Witch Blood Margarita
WITCH BLOOD MARGARITA😍
Halloween’s coming so you know we needed a spooky cocktail to set the mood - this blood red margarita is a simple pomegranate margarita masquerading as the perfect spooky cocktail for your weekend festivities. Add a black salt rim and a chunk of dry ice to make this extra Halloweeny - perfect for a chill night in but just as easily made in a big batch!
Directions:
For 1 serving:
2 oz lime juice
1.5 oz pomegranate or cranberry juice
1 oz orange juice
2-3 oz 100% agave silver tequila
1 oz grand marnier or similar orange liqueur
1-2 tbsps agave or simple syrup
Ice
Black salt for the rim
Lime wedges for serving
For 8 servings:
2 cups lime juice
1½ cups pomegranate or cranberry juice
1 cup orange juice
2-3 cups 100% agave silver tequila
1 cup grand marnier
½ - 1 cup agave or simple syrup
Ice
Black salt for the rim
Lime wedges for serving
Directions:
For the Single Serve Margarita:
Add lime juice, pomegranate or cranberry juice, orange juice, tequila, grand marnier, and agave to a cocktail shaker and shake to mix in the sweetener.
Rim your glass with the lime and dip in black salt. Fill with ice.
Add ice to the cocktail shaker and shake for 30 seconds or until cold. Strain into your cocktail glass and enjoy!
For the Batch Margarita:
Add lime juice, pomegranate or cranberry juice, orange juice, tequila, grand marnier, and agave to a pitcher and stir well to mix in the sweetener. Refrigerate until cold.
When ready to serve, rim your glasses with the lime and dip in black salt. Fill with ice and your margarita and enjoy!
