Smoky Fall Margarita
SMOKY FALL MARGARITA😍
Since we’re all stuck inside anyways, might as well make fancy cocktails at home😋 A smoky, spooky version of a margarita, this will have your taste buds singing all fall long. Smoky notes from Mezcal + crisp apple cider + citrus tang, it’s the perfect cocktail for this holiday season. Recipe for single batch and big batch below!
Serves 1.
Ingredients:
For the Smoky Mezcal Margarita:
2 oz mezcal (I like El Silencio) (¼ cup)
4 oz apple cider (½ cup)
1 oz fresh orange juice
1 oz fresh lime juice
1 oz Grand Marnier (or similar orange liqueur)
1-2 tbsp maple syrup
Ice
Lime wedges
Cinnamon sugar for the rim
Cinnamon stick for garnish
“Big Batch” (Serves 4):
1 cup Mezcal
2 cups apple cider
½ cup fresh lime juice
½ cup fresh orange juice
½ cup Grand Marnier
¼ cup maple syrup
Lime wedges
Cinnamon sugar for the rim
Cinnamon sticks for garnish
Directions:
For the Smoky Fall Margarita:
Add mezcal, apple cider, lime juice, orange juice, Grand Marnier, maple syrup and ice to a cocktail shaker.
Shake until cold.
Line a cocktail glass with cinnamon sugar and fill with ice.
Strain the cocktail mixture over the ice, top with a cinnamon stick and enjoy!
