This smoothie is packed with nutrients and immunity boosting qualities. See below for some highlights:

  • Turmeric - known for it’s anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties

  • Black pepper - makes it easier for your body to absorb certain nutrients

  • Kale or Spinach - both great sources of beta carotene, which is known for reducing inflammation and increasing disease-fighting cells

  • Pineapple - loaded with vitamin C, even more than an orange!

  • Ginger - more anti-inflammatory properties

  • Cauliflower - more antioxidants to boost your immune system and fight off infection

  • Carrots - more Vitamin C, also contain antioxidants, which help your body fight cell damage and inflammation

  • Orange juice - loaded with Vitamin C, known to help maintain a healthy immune system

Ingredients:

For the Immunity Boosting Smoothie:

  • 1 cup frozen Pineapple

  • ¼ cup frozen or fresh cauliflower rice

  • ½ cup baby carrots

  • 1 cup orange juice

  • 1 banana

  • ½ tsp turmeric

  • ½ tsp grated ginger

  • 1 tsp chia seeds

  • 1-2 scoops of your favorite unflavored collagen (I love Further Foods brand)

  • Pinch of black pepper (see above)

  • 1 cup kale or spinach (optional for brownie points)

Directions:

For the Immunity Smoothie:

  • Add all ingredients to a blender and blend on high speed until creamy. Serve and enjoy!
