I had to make sure this cocktail was as perfect and complex as Queen B - slightly sweet, tart and lemony, smooth, with a hint of spice just like the queen herself. And with all the D’usse and dark liquor lyric references, you know we had to go top shelf for this one. Because at the end of the day.. We just wanna have a good time, turn around, kick, then slideeee. Get your playlist ready for this one and just have fun making it, you know Bey would.

Serves 1.

Ingredients:

For the Beyoncé Inspired Sidecar Cocktail:

• 2 ounces Cognac (Like D'usse)

• 1 ounce Cointreau or triple sec

• 1 ounce fresh lemon juice

• 1-2 tsps honey

• 1 tbsp superfine sugar

• ½ - 1 tsp cayenne pepper

• Lemon twist for garnish (optional)

• Ice

Directions:

For the Beyoncé Sidecar Cocktail:

• Mix together the sugar and cayenne pepper on a flat surface. Taste and adjust to your heat preference. Line the rim of your cocktail glass with a lemon wedge and dip in the cayenne sugar.

• Add cognac, Cointreau, lemon juice, and honey to a cocktail shaker and shake to dissolve the honey. Add ice and shake until very cold.

• Strain into your cocktail glass and garnish with a lemon twist. Enjoy!
