Butter and Sage Ravioli
BUTTER & SAGE RAVIOLI 😍
Want a stupidly easy dinner that tastes like a 5 star meal but takes less time than boiling a package of ramen noodles? Then you need to sprint to Trader Joe’s ASAP and make this tonight because it’s 😋
In Italy, this is called Burro e Salvia Ravioli, and is a typical, simple sauce to go with stuffed pasta since it compliments the flavor in the filling without overpowering it. This would also taste great with spinach and cheese stuffed tortellini!
Makes 1 serving (double the recipe to use the whole package)
Ingredients:
For the Butter and Sage Ravioli:
½ package ravioli (I love the Trader Joe’s Butternut Squash ravioli for this)
2 tbsps butter
6-8 sage leaves
2 tbsps pine nuts
Freshly grated parmesan cheese
Serves 1-2. Double the recipe if you’re cooking for 2 people, but keep in mind it doesn’t reheat the best, so it’s best to not meal prep.
Directions:
For the Butter and Sage Ravioli:
Bring a pot of salted water to boil and drop in 6-7 ravioli.
Meanwhile, butter, sage leaves, and pine nuts to a skillet. Cook and swirl constantly on medium heat for 1-2 minutes until the butter is foamy and just starting to brown.
Turn off and remove from heat.
