Steak with Roasted Garlic Sundried Tomato Compound Butter

STEAK WITH GARLIC SUNDRIED TOMATO COMPOUND BUTTER😍

Whether you’re rooting for the Raptors or the Warriors tonight, I think we can all agree that steak and butter just belongs together right? Make this for a super quick and easy treat yo self dinner or to impress your dads/uncles/grandpas this weekend!


Serves 2.

Ingredients:

For the Grilled Steak:

  • 2 NY strip steaks (or whatever you prefer, you the boss)

  • Salt and pepper

For the Compound Butter:

  • 1/4 cup softened salted butter

  • 2 tbsps sundried tomatoes

  • 2 tbsps chopped basil

  • 4 roasted garlic cloves (or 2 grated fresh cloves)


Directions:

For the Grilled Steak with Compound Butter:

  • Take your steak out of the fridge 30 min before cooking to bring it up to room temp

  • Make the compound butter by mixing the butter with sundried tomatoes, basil, garlic, and salt and pepper.

  • Preheat your grill up to high heat (about 450)

  • Pat your steaks dry with paper towels and generously season your steaks with salt and pepper

  • Grill on high for 2-3 min per side or until an instant thermometer reads 125

  • Let rest for 5 minutes and allow the steaks to come up to 130

  • Serve with the compound butter on top and enjoy a fancy meal in your PJs watching the game😋😋
